Sniffing out Covid-19

An interesting animal study has shown that common dogs can be properly trained to correctly sniff for COVID-19 in humans. According, specifically to CBS health News

, they may be used in public hospitals centers, train stations, and international airports to help slow the rapid spread of the virus within the following months ahead. The remarkable scenting ability of these wonderful dogs allows them to excel in our communities in ways that help to battle this disease, including medical detection. This is a wonderful story to share with your family and friends that affirms the importance of the pets we have as family members and their unique ability to offer comfort in times of trouble.
